Haetaan tanssi- ja sirkuselokuvia! Open call for dance and circus films!

Haemme tanssi- ja sirkuslyhytelokuvia lauantaina 31.1.2026 järjestettävään näytökseen. Näytös järjestetään Orivedellä, Oriveden Suojan talolla. Elokuville pystytään maksamaan pieni esityskorvaus 50€ (laskutettuna). Hae mukaan 8.12.2025 mennessä.

Haemme elokuvia, jotka ovat maksimissaan 20 minuuttia pitkiä. Haemme erityisesti elokuvia, jotka ovat teemaltaan yhteydessä luontoon tai ympäristöön. Elokuvien pääilmaisumuoto tulee olla tanssi, sirkus tai muutoin kehollinen ilmaisu. Elokuvien tulee olla tehty Suomessa tai niillä on muu kytkös Suomeen.

Kannustamme hakemaan moninaisilta tekijöiltä, mukaan lukien esimerkiksi FLINTA+-henkilöt, LGBTQIA+-yhteisöön kuuluvat, BIPOC-henkilöt, maahanmuuttajat ja vammaiset. Jos tarvitset minkä tahansa saavutettavuuteen liittyvän mukautuksen hakuprosessissa, otathan meihin matalalla kynnyksellä yhteyttä.

Näytöksen kuratoi tanssi- ja videotaiteilija Tuulia Soininen ja sen järjestää Sysäys ry. Näytös järjestetään yhteistyössä Oriveden kaupungin kulttuuripalvelujen kanssa.

We are seeking dance and circus short films for a screening taking place on Saturday, January 31, 2026. The screening will be held in Orivesi, at the Orivesi Suoja building. We are able to offer a small screening fee of €50 (invoiced). Apply by December 8, 2025.

We are looking for films with a maximum duration of 20 minutes. We are especially interested in films that relate thematically to nature or the environment. The primary form of expression in the film should be dance, circus, or other embodied/physical expression. The films must be made in Finland or otherwise have a connection to Finland.

We encourage applications from creators of diverse backgrounds, including for example FLINTA+ individuals, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC creators, immigrants, and people with disabilities. The screening is curated by dance and video artist Tuulia Soininen and it is organized by Sysäys ry in collaboration with the City of Orivesi’s cultural services.
